Fitness and diet culture is pervasive and can really impact the way many views and accept their bodies. In the fitness world, it’s not uncommon for bodybuilders to go on extreme diets to look a certain way for a competition, only for them to continue this practice off the runway. It’s a hard journey to accept your body, especially in a society that is so unforgiving to unorthodox body types. 

 

In today’s episode, I’m joined by Felicia Romero, fitness guru, podcast host, and founder of the Fit Method. She is no stranger to the fitness world but also has both personal and professional experience with how society promotes diet culture.
